Green Silver Recovery: Electrolysed Stripping for a Greek Refiner
Client: A precious metal refining and waste recycling company in Greece
Industry: Precious Metal Recovery
Challenge: Finding a clean, selective technology for stripping silver from fully conductive plated materials
About the Client
A precious metal refining and recycling company based in Greece with a background similar to UWin's own. They already understood the refining business, but they lacked green stripping technology for sliver and gold.
The Challenge
The client had landed a project processing fully conductive materials with silver plating from one of their own clients. To deliver on it, they needed a stripping technology that could recover silver efficiently without generating hazardous byproducts.
The UWin Solution
UWin offered its electrolysed stripping method. The electrolysed method only works with fully conductive materials. It creates near-zero air pollution, near-zero wastewater, and is highly selective.
Implementation
The paid analysis and machine design discussions are complete. The case is now entering its next stages of implementation and fabrication planning.
